Overview
Designing a website for a SaaS startup
This was a huge new undertaking in my professional development. This was the first time that I was able to help create a website from the ground up, and the amount of responsibility to make it as good as it could be was a huge weight on my shoulders. Although I don't have a formal background in web design, it is something that I hold a lot of curiosity about, and I enjoy the process a lot. There were times when I felt overwhelmed by the doubting task of finishing this site in less than a month, with less than 15 hours a week to work on it. That being said, we pushed it down to the wire and got it published in time. I was responsible for setting up the website in Webflow, writing all of the copy, and laying the site out. Along with that, because we are on a tight startup budget, I also created the mockup images and graphics myself using UX from the Nayak.ai product as a guide. I'm incredibly proud that I was able to pull it all off with limited time and resources, and I love the result. There's still so much more to be done to grow the site and the brand, and I can't wait to see where it goes.
